A strange day in July

Today I got up early because I need to go out. I glanced out of the window. The weather is awful. Fog filled the sky.

Opening the door, I thought this was a strange day because I felt a little cold in July. Now, this city like an older man who is addicted to cigarette and spit out smoke crazily. Locking the door, suddenly, a face appeared in front of me. I was frozen. What’s that face like? He has no features, and his face is full of eyes. Every eye was on me. My heart is beating, and my brain is blank.

In a panic, I hit him and ran out of the community madly. The wind, like a knife, scratched my face. I use my phone and want to call the police.

There was a noise on the phone. Sometimes sounds like hoarse screams. Sometimes sounds like sharp laughter. By this time, I had no idea that more monsters were coming towards me.

Writing a story is difficult for me. I am not a person who has numerous ideas about creating a story, which is my first limitation. I chose A strange day in July as my theme. I considered for a while. I thought I could put my experience and exaggerate it in this story. I am an introvert, so social contact is a terrible thing for me when I stay in public. I always feel lots of eyes are watching me, and when I see a stranger, I feel nervous, so I decided to write this feeling in the story. I create a person who only has eyes and create a strange scene and make this story sound weird. I am not sure my story is dark, and I think the language is a second limitation of some words. I can’t use English to express them completely. So I really don’t know when people read my story, they can feel this is a dark story or not. And I think my story still has a problem, I think my story doesn’t have a clear context, and I focus on ‘dark,’ and I ignore ‘clear.’ I will pay more attention to this point next time. Creating a story is an important skill for the animator. Animated stories and scenes are equally important. I enjoy this class.
